About This Free Printable Crossword

The second easy geography crossword helps young map readers find their footing. Nine answers fill a 9x9 grid: the imaginary line splitting Earth in two, the continent with Paris and Rome, the continent home to the Sahara and the Nile, and one of Earth's seven great land masses. Smaller stops include a pointed mountain top and the fan of land where a river meets the sea. Everything stays at easy difficulty, with short clues and helpful crossings, so first through third graders can navigate it with confidence.

Teachers fold it into a continents unit or map-skills lesson; homeschoolers use it as a gentle review before moving on. Print Puzzle gives you the blank grid with its clue list on Letter or A4 paper, and Print Answer Key prints the solved grid on its own page whenever someone needs a peek. Save as PDF in the print dialog downloads a copy instead. If your young explorer still has energy, the first easy geography grid is a nice replay, and the medium geography crosswords are the natural next journey.
