About CrosswordWise

CrosswordWise started with a simple observation: the internet has plenty of crossword sites, but the ones people actually want — a quick printable grid for a classroom, a clean 5x5 for a coffee break — are buried behind sign-ups, paywalls, and cluttered pages. We build the opposite of that: free printable crossword puzzles and daily mini crosswords, no account required.

What We Make

Every puzzle on the site is machine-checked so that every crossing agrees, no answer repeats inside a grid, and the whole puzzle prints on exactly one page — puzzle on the front, answer key printed separately. We cover fifteen themes from Christmas to chemistry, three grid sizes from a two-minute 5x5 to an eighteen-word 15x15 challenge, and a fresh daily mini crossword every day.

Who It's For

Teachers building lesson plans and sub folders, parents stocking the activity drawer, and anyone who wants five quiet minutes with a pencil. Because the site works on plain paper and plain browsers, it fits school Chromebooks, library computers, and kitchen printers equally well.

How It Stays Free

Advertising keeps every puzzle free, and we keep the advertising polite: a few ad slots per page, never between the puzzle and its buttons. There is no premium tier hiding the good puzzles — they are all the good puzzles.
